Mimes On Rollercoasters™ - 3 is the third concept album based on The Adventures of Marcel and Mimi Mime.  Continuing the saga, this album announces the birth of their first child, Maxine.  As the music unfolds, you soon discover that all is not well in paradise.  Mimi is suffering from an unusually intense bout of postpartum depression.  Marcel on the other hand, recently released from prison, is trying to become adjusted to life on the outside. But at the same time, is very confused by Mimi’s odd, and sometimes psychotic behavior.  One thing’s for sure; they both love their new baby girl, to the ends of the earth.

Heavily influenced by the great Progressive Rock masters such as, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull ,  Yes, and even the Moody Blues, Mark delivers something for everyone in this latest work. Yet, he still ties the ten brand new selections together with that unique Mimes On Rollercoasters™ sound.

The “musical story” will immediately immerse you, right from the very first selection. Labor To Life, can be best described as a musical journey from conception to birth.  But musically, the story does not end there.  In fact, it’s only just the beginning.  Along the way, you will discover music influenced by several genres from Electronic to Western, and Acoustic to full on Classical, with several stops in between.  If you like variety, drawn together by a familiar continuity, you will definitely like Mimes On Rollercoasters™ - 3.

So slip on a set of headphones; sit back in a comfortable chair, shut off the lights, close your eyes and give Mimes On Rollercoasters™ - 3 a listen.  You won’t be disappointed!

Lyrics

Labor To Life

Living, dreaming,

touching, feeling,

Being, floating,

needing, loving,

A spirit deep inside,

another precious life,

Waiting for a chance, a chance to breath the air.

Trusting, caring,

planning, sharing,

Hoping, wanting,

waiting, longing,

Carrying his child,
safe and warm inside.

Giving her precious gift.
Giving the gift of life.

Sunshine

I met a little ray of sunshine, to help me through my darkest days.
I met a little ray of sunshine, to carry me on my way.
She carries me on my way.

That little girl is on my mind, all I think about, all of the time.
I don’t have a dollar, not even a dime.
But I don’t care, cause everything’s fine.

I met a little ray of sunshine, to help me through my longest nights.
I met a little ray of sunshine, you know she makes me feel all right.
She makes me feel all right.

That little girl is on my mind, all I think about, all of the time.
I don’t have a dollar, not even a dime.
But I don’t care, cause everything’s fine.

I met a little ray of sunshine, I hope she doesn’t go away.
I met a little ray of sunshine, cause I really love a sunny day.
I love a sunny babe.

That little girl is on my mind, all I think about, all of the time.
I don’t have a dollar, not even a dime.
But I don’t care, cause everything’s fine.

That little girl is on my mind, all I think about, all of the time.
I don’t have a dollar, not even a dime.
But I don’t care, cause everything’s fine.

One-Way Ticket Ride

Lounging on a porch swing on a Sunday afternoon.
Warm Sun on my shoulders the day's over much too soon.

Casually acting like everything is okay.
Never the one to be confrontational.
Gone are the days that we used to talk.
Gone is the life that we used to know.

Traveling together on this one-way ticket ride.
Crushed by the pressures, that cast shadows on our lives.

A rose wilting in its vase. A love that has run dry.
Once bright, glowing full of life, petals now fall like rain.
Reflecting on a memory, when time seemed to stand still.
Love once was so fresh and new, now colors they fade to gray.

Wondering how we got here, how did we hang on for so long?
How do we survive everything tearing us apart?

Casually acting like everything is okay.
Never the one to be confrontational.
Gone are the days that we used to talk.
Gone is the life that we used to know.

Casually acting like everything is okay.
Never the one to be confrontational.
Gone are the days that we used to talk.
Gone is the life that we used to know.

Chained To A Life

Working all day; sleeping all night.

Do it again; eventually we get it right.

Chained to a life; a repetitive song.

Over and over; it won’t last too long.

The powers that be; switching us on.

Download a profile; can never be wrong.

Mechanical thoughts tell us to sing.

We’re just a part of a bigger machine.

Painting On Sad Eyes

Hey, I got something to say.  I don’t understand why you’re acting this way.
Where, where is your lust for life?  Something’s wrong, there can be no disguise.

You’re painting on sad eyes, black and white fade to gray.
Been wearing a long face, what else do I have to say?

You can’t explain your emotions, so lonely
Your private fears locked away deep in your inner self.
Who is this stranger invading your kingdom?
Who is this stranger here, tugging at your heart strings?

Hey, girl can’t you see, what it’s doing to you, it’s doing to me?
I’m caught up here in a danger zone, clinging to you, but feeling alone.

You’re painting on sad eyes, black and white fade to gray.
Been wearing a long face, what else do I have to say?

You can’t explain your emotions, so lonely.
Your private fears locked away deep your inner self.
Who is this stranger invading your kingdom?
Who is this stranger here, tugging on your heart strings?

Blue, it’s all over you?  I don’t understand those things that you do.
Babe, are you telling me, somebody new is taking my place?

You’re painting on sad eyes, black and white fade to gray.
Been wearing a long face, what else do I have to say?

Who is this stranger invading your kingdom?
Who is this stranger here, tugging at your heart strings?
Who is this stranger invading your kingdom?
Who is this stranger here, tugging at your heart strings?

Fly Away

Sometimes I just want to fly

Soaring through the atmosphere.

Release of all the synergy.

Winding down I see the light.

The light of all that is to be.

I’m going to fly away.

Fly away.
Fly away.
Fly away.
Fly away.
Fly away.
Fly away.
Fly away.
Fly away.

I Walk Alone

I’m just a man on my own walkin’ down, this lonely old road.
I’ve been takin’ my time guessed I’d always be alone.

I walk alone.
I walk alone.
I walk alone.
And now I’m ready to come home.

Worked my fingers to the bone learnin’ skills that I’ve honed.
Well I’ve survived the toughest times now I’m ready to come home.

I walk alone.
I walk alone.
I walk alone.
And now I’m ready to come home.

I walk alone.
I walk alone.
And now I’m ready to come home.

I walk alone.
I walk alone.
And now I’m ready to come home.

So Far Away My Love

The sky overhead is a pale shade of gray.
Mountains in front of us stand in our way.

You’re so far away my love. You’re so far away.
You’re so far away my love. You’re so far away.

One of these days you will surely be gone.
Ripping my heart from my chest as you leave.

You’re so far away my love. You’re so far away.
You’re so far away my love. You’re so far away.

So far away my love. So far away.

Distance you place between us count the miles.
Emptiness strangles a heart in denial.

You’re so far away my love. You’re so far away.
You’re so far away my love. You’re so far away.

So far away my love. So far away.
So far away my love. So far away.
So far away my love. So far away.
